My Zia Alice’who passed away a few years ago, was the “Master “ of this torta. This would be the only one I’ve tried that comes close. My Zia added a layer of filo that was soaked in syrup. Which made it even more delicious. I’m not sure if this was just her version though, she was pretty creative in the kitchen. Regardless, we loved it and will definitely order again at Easter with a panettone that I sampled. 5 stars 🌟 Grazi mille x

All of my family absolutely loved it. Would most definitely order again. There are a lot of continental cakes out there that are very average, but Locantro's version was delicious and light, the sponge was fresh and moist and the custard perfect. Congratulations - please keep doing what you do best!

We ordered this traditional Italian cake to celebrate our parent’s 50th wedding anniversary and it was simply perfect! Great tasting and beautifully presented.
